Summary: Does the job, sort of 2007-08-20
Comment: this case is about what you would expect for the price. I found it difficult to get my macbook in and out since the zippers only go down the sides about 25-30 percent of the way. It does offer a very snug fit, and provides internal and external pockets, but it is difficult to include all of the peripherals in the pockets - especially on the inside of the case -- power brick, extension cord, external pocket mouse, security cable, plus remote & thumbnail drive (and I also have a spare ethernet cable); packing all of these along with the laptop is like putting together a jigsaw puzzle -- and the scrapes I received on my fingers from the sharp edges of the zippers didn't help!
The neoprene material is very nice, though, and very stretchy - so I am hoping that with a bit more use, I will have an easier time packing & unpacking. If not, it wasn't a huge investment and I will look around for another case that is either a) a bit deeper; b) with zippers that fully extend down the sides and c) perhaps a bit larger
