Customer Rating: 4 Star
Summary: Not for protection from weather 2008-12-17
Comment: The good:

-Tons of room for carrying extra stuff
-shoulder strap/handle combo gives good versatility
-better quality construction than I've found in other messenger bag style laptop cases
-stylish enough to not even look like a laptop bag

The bad:

-fold over flap is the only top closure and doesn't even cover the width of the notebook compartment, leaving electronics and other items in the bag little protection from the elements

Summary: Fits my 17" Laptop 2008-07-20
Comment: I have a 17" hp gaming notebook and this bag is barely big enough. I was worried it wouldn't fit since it says 15.4" or smaller but it still works! I can also fit my cables, mouse, books, and gaming headphones. Nice durable material, and comfortable strap.

Customer Rating: 3 Star
Summary: Big and bulky - but some people like more cushin' 2007-09-09
Comment: I really liked the photo of this bag - but when it was delivered in a great big box I knew I was in for a surprise. First let me start with the pros :
1. Great perfect fit for 15.4" laptops. No slipping and sliding.
2. Nice vertical storage layout. Can easily fit a laptop and a couple magazines or a book.
3. Lots of great pockets (it even has two side pockets that work exactly like pants pockets so you don't have to open the bag to pull out your ipod, cell phone, keys etc...)
4.Great zippered pockets within, which are not in contact with the laptop - so no scratches. Big enough to hold power hub/usb chords - wireless mouse ...

So why just three stars :

Cons : The bag should firstly be comfortable. You cannot sling the strap around your opposite shoulder comfortably - the bag is too deep. The strap is not placed well so it digs into your shoulder and tends to bounce at your side while walking. If you commute on the train like I do that's bad. It feels better if you like to hang it off the shoulder on the bag side (but it tends to slip off your shoulder because the bag is so wide.) If they would have centered the strap on the sides of the bag it would have been great for opposite shoulder strap carrying.
The material on my strap pad is already pulling apart (1 month of use). It's just too side-wide to sling over your opposite shoulder - when you do it feels much heavier than it actually is (because of the added pressure that creates). You really feel it after standing or walking a while. It's a great bag if you drive to work but is not the best choice for bus/train/bike commuters.

Customer Rating: 5 Star
Summary: Even Better Than Swiss Army 2007-08-07
Comment: Yes, you read that right. I've owned 3 Swiss Army bags and swore I would never buy anything else but in a pinch I bought this one and boy am I glad I did!

I needed a bag to fit my new 17" laptop and was having trouble finding the Swiss Army bag. I could find it online but I needed the bag yesterday. I notice the Kensington but it said it fit 15.4 inchers. But I decided to get my laptop from the car and try it anyway. It fit perfectly and the rest is history!

The thing I like is that it is designed for the laptop to go in long wise. That makes it easier to carry a 17 incher over your shoulder. I would have never thought to do this if not for this bag. The material is nice and thick and it's got a very sturdy strap to it. It's also got another compartment where you can put power supply and other peripherals. And finally you've got lots of pockets for smaller stuff like CDs, USB drives, PCMCIA cards, etc. It's even got a pocket for a water bottle or any other soft drink.

All in all, this is a GREAT bag for laptops and other stuff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Summary: Great Bag 2007-03-11
Comment: I had been looking for a bag, that was roomy, and unconstrictive. I found that with this bag. All regular laptop bags, dont hold the hardware easily, and become very awkward, and mis-shaped. This bag helps store and organize the laptop, power adapters, well. Also it has a cool canvas and courdoroy material. Looks very casual. I am glad I got this bag.
