Summary: Perfect for travel 2008-10-11
Comment: It took me ages to find a messenger-styled bag for a 17" laptop because I travel so much and have to take the computer with me. I finally found one and this is it. This bag is excellent with so many pockets and spots for things and the computer fits perfectly. I can't imagine a better bag!

Comment: Let's face it, a 17" laptop computer isn't exactly inexpensive, and often needs to be protected against the elements of the weather, commuting and general usage. Have long been a believer that companies that make good cases and carriers for transporting expensive camera equipment often make the best bags for notebook and laptop computers. This Lowepro Messenger Factor L Computer Bag, which is designed to fit 17" laptop computers, is proof of that concept.
This black messenger-style case has a roomy interior designed to carry laptop computers up to 17" in size, along with an extra compartment for papers, books, legal pads and such. There are extra compartments inside this case for cords, cables, USB devices, cell phones and such. The exterior is water-resistant, has a slip-resistant rubberized carrying handle, and also features Lowepro's well-known and properly padded shoulder strap.
Speaking from a personal perspective, for those of us who like extra room in a computer case, even with smaller notebook computers, this is an excellent choice.
