Summary: Great case for 15" notebook computers... 2008-08-19
Comment: Had just posted a review on the black Lowepro Messenger Factor M Computer Bag, then saw this bag, which is the same great Lowepro quality except that its color is espresso/latte instead of the traditional black... and it's perfect for those who don't want the look of the traditional, conservative laptop or notebook case.
As noted in my other review, Lowepro's 40+ years of constructing high-quality camera cases and photo equipment backpacks cases pays off. This Lowepro Messenger Factor M Computer Bag in Espresso / Latte is no exception, for it's a great balance of ergonomics, convenience, durability and good messenger bag styling. Lowepro has always been known for providing excellent padding in their camera bags, and that experience ensures that your investment in your notebook PC will be well protected.
Also worth noting is that there are plenty of pockets in this bag for power cords, USB items, and the accessories that we all carry with out notebook computers. This unit also doubles up as a good messenger bag, with a decent book compartment, perfect for storing legal pads and file folders.
But be careful when reading the specifications, for the second part seems to be erroneous when it states: "Features include well padded interior able to fit most 17 widescreen notebook computers," as that refers to the larger version. This bag's well-padded interior was designed to fit most 15.4" wide-screen notebook computers, but if you need a larger version, check out the Lowepro Messenger Factor L Computer Bag, which is designed to fit 17" laptop computers.
The exterior on these Lowepro Messenger Computer Bags is water-resistant, and they have has a slip-resistant rubberized carrying handle. One of the most important (and often overlooked) features of these and all Lowepro computer bags is their well-known and properly padded shoulder strap, one that seems to fit the shoulder better than most.

Summary: tight but it fits...... 2008-08-08
Comment: The tags and information all say its for 14 inch laptops....I looked at size of the computer pouch inside and it seemed like it would fit...it being a 15.4 inch thinkpad T61. It does fit tightly, I mean snug. I like pockets/organizers and the ability to switch the dominate sholder. The brown & tan colors beat the black computer bags that most people seem to have. I have LowePro Camera bags and LoweAlpine backpack that have never let me down so i'm sure this computer messenger bag will join them.
