Summary: Great Backpack 2008-10-18
Comment: I bought this backpack for my son. He's in middle school this year and needed a bigger backpack. The backpack is very cool-looking. It has lots of various little pockets, which is an asset because they can hold small items that would get lost in the bigger compartments. The shoulder staps are comfortable and it has a strap around the waist as well. Due to the quality of the backpack, I think my son is going to be using this backpack for a looooong time. He'll already have something to carry a laptop in when he gets one, which is in the near future.

Summary: Bag for on the go! 2008-10-06
Comment: I purchased this bag because of the size and because of the 17" laptop holding area. I was extremely pleased with the amount that you can carry in this bag. It is very good quality. My one disappointment was that the straps when tightened have excess straps flapping around (just like every other bag). Its no big deal, just that i have to tuck them when I'm on my motorcycle. Overall, the bag is well worth the money and I highly recommend giving it a shot.

Comment: This backpack is great and well worth the money. I got caught in some heavy rain could not even see 10 feet in front of me, had my laptop and books in this backpack and when i got home everything was completely dry nothing got wet. This backpack is also well padded.

Summary: Good for Laptop, not so good for school. . . 2008-08-26
Comment: This is a really good laptop bag, because it has a lot of extra pockets for other laptop accessories like mouse, adapter, etc. I have a 17" Toshiba Satelite that I use this bag to carry around, however, the pocket designed for the laptop has a velcro "lock" that doesn't quite reach each other when the laptop is in. It'll still touch (and therefore, "lock"), but only slightly.
While there is a lot of room for accessories, there aren't a lot of room for books, notebooks, folders, binders, etc. That may not be an issue if you live on campus, but for those who commute and have to bring lots of books, etc. all at once. . . well, I guess there aren't a lot of options anyhow.
Overall, I like the bag, but I may need to reconsider leaving my laptop behind so that I can carry more books. But my case is probably rare, as most people would probably only carry a few books, which the bag certainly has room for.
