Comment: I bought this bag for my daily comute on the subway system in Boston. It really just looks like an oversized purse. The top zips shut in such a way that you can barely tell that it even has a zipper. It definately doesn't look like anything like a laptop would be in there! It makes me feel much safer about carrying my expensive laptop through public transportation systems.
The bag is also quite sturdy, I expect it to last much longer than I'll ever need it!

Summary: Good but BIG 2008-06-24
Comment: Great product and has lots of useful pockets for cell phone, etc. But I took it to a conference in Seattle, and because the bag was so big, I had to bring another purse for walking around the city. This bag IS great for traveling in airports and cars with a laptop and fits nicely under the seat in airplanes.

Comment: My expectations for a laptop tote are 1. good for business use; 2. sturdy and protective; 3. spacious to fit in many other things; 4. good looking. This bag accomplishes the first three of my requirements. As for the looking, it is not an ugly one but it is too big to be good looking.
I like the materials of this bag and it feels very sturdy. It fits my MacBook Pro 15'' very well. It is indeed spacious inside, but mostly because the bag is very wide and deep. The removable laptop compartment cannot be used as a laptop sleeve alone, and I wouldn't remove it and use this bag without having to carry a laptop like many other said, simply because it is sooooooooo huge and not pretty nor stylish for casual use. It actually looks a little funny on me (I'm 5'6) and I would have returned it if I didn't like the materials so much or if I could afford a Zegari tote. Unlike many other said, I didn't get compliments for this bag but I did get some gasps and curiosities: "why are you carrying such a huge bag?" But after all, it might be the best option that I'm willing to pay for right now (within $70-80). For those who are concerned of the size, I suggest you cut a cardboard according to the dimensions given here and get a feeling of how big it is.
Overall it is a nice laptop tote for business women but very very very big.

Summary: Nice Tote. 2008-06-15
Comment: The main reason I chose this bag was for my 17" laptop and I wanted a tote type bag rather than a briefcase style. It was the only one from the descriptions that I thought I could safely purchase to fit a larger laptop. It's a very nice looking bag but the padded sleeve intended for the laptop does not fit my 17" laptop very well (too small). I am still happy with the tote but did give it 4 stars instead of 5 only for this reason. The bag itself it still functional for carrying my laptop, it's just not as secure.
