Summary: Easy fit for my 18.4 inch Sony VAIO 2008-12-22
Comment: I just recieved this as an xmas gift. I was hesitant because the description claimed it fits laptops up to 17 inches. They are being modest for sure. The first time I plunged my huge 18.4 inch Sony VAIO into it, I knew this was the right choice. It has a hundred pockets. It is very sturdy, and well padded on the back. I can not think of a feature this pack does not have. I got this mainly so my slightly built wife could travel hands free. It even has an easily acessible outer pocket she can fit her medium to small purse in, and still have acess to. God forbid she give up her purse and carry only 1 bag!
I could not be more happy, and highly recommend this backpack.

Summary: Perfect eaven for 18.4 laptop 2008-12-08
Comment: after hours of searching in the internet a bag for my Toshiba Qosmio which is the size 18.4" at last i found one that my lap top can fit in it. but when it arrives the design is great material and its a cool looking too every small detail in this bag was given attention by the creator my thumbs up for him.
for the money i paid for it you could not get better one, Toshiba wanted to sell me the same one as an addition to the qosmio accessories for 20$ more.

Comment: This backpack is wonderful. The wide straps and handle make it easy to carry or wear. It is well designed and well built. This backpack fits easily under an airplane seat or in an overhead bin. The padding is also sufficient to protect my laptop.

Comment: Good size pack for the 17" computer. Nice layout of pockets, but one is a bit too open and could allow extra hands to get in when you don't want them.
Good size, comfortable straps, pretty good for 3 day trips as your only bag.

Comment: I was looking for a backpack that would fit my 17" Dell Inspiron 1720 with the extended battery that sticks out the back by a little less than an inch. After comparing many backpacks online and looking at the sizes, I decided on this one and was very happy with it. My laptop fits perfect and there are a bunch of other great pockets for books or accessories. I am not a student and don't take a ton of books with me everywhere so I wanted a backpack that was fairly low profile and didn't stick out really far from my back like many of the other ones seem too and I was relieved when it came in to find that this one satisfied this requirement and yet still has the ability to hold quite a few book or whatever else if desired. It is pretty large in the width and height but I'm 6'5" so it fits me just fine. I think it'd still be able to fit under an airplane seat (although I haven't tried yet). It is very comfortable on my back even though my laptop is very heavy. I've only had it for a few weeks now and only taken it a few places but it seems well made. I like the stiff handle on top as well. I highly recommend this product for people needing to fit a 17" laptop.
