Summary: Best Bag Baby 2008-11-16
Comment: My company gave me this backpack. It was a welcome change from the flimsy, oft poorly constructed, brief case style cases. I wasn't sure about how long it would last. I am a network tech for an ISP so my bag is in use everyday, all day. I am hard on bags and notebooks. This bag has outlasted two notebooks and fulfills my every desire for an all-around notebook case / tool bag. I fill it at times with paper work and cables to do router installs and network cross connects. I have crammed it under seats on airplanes, crammed its pockets with water bottles, and crammed its generous insides with carry on essentials. It has never failed me. Everyone in my company, almost without exception, now is begging for this bag. I intend buying one for myself and as a gift for my nephew for schoolwork. I believe even he will have a tuff time destroying this one.

Summary: Worth the money 2008-09-07
Comment: I personally don't care about the laptop section placement. I don't slam my pack on the ground with heavy items on top of it.
For me this was a great purchase. I really like the number and different sizes of compartments, allowing me to store a variety of electronics and other items and still easily access them. Everything that I carry with me on a daily basis has a convenient and accessible place to reside.
I find the bag to be extremely comfortable. I have tried numerous bad in this price range and this is one of the more comfortable.
All in all I would say this was a purchase worth the money I spent and would reccomend it to others

Summary: A well-thought-out business traveller's bag, 2nd generation 2008-06-19
Comment: I bought the first (?) generation of this bag when I found myself working a project that took me to the UK frequently. It's a good mobile office -- carries laptop & accessories, papers, books etc. and is comfortable to haul around and quite durable. This version is a notable improvement on the first, with more small outer compartments for organizing smaller items and *two* expandable mesh pockets for water bottles etc. Zippers are reliable and have overlarge pulls, laptop sleeve is well padded, well done throughout.
It doesn't exactly look like a businessman's backpack; if you're concerned about 'professional image', it might not be for you.

Summary: Still like new after 18 months 2008-04-13
Comment: I bought this backpack before heading off to live in another country, where I used it both for commuting to work with a laptop, and for clothes for weekend trips. It did fine for both purposes. Now I use it 5 days a week to carry a laptop to and from work.
Unlike another reviewer, I don't have any issue with where or how the laptop is stored. It seems well protected to me, and this bag has dropped from table height several times with no laptop problems. I put files or paperwork in the same compartment as the laptop. Not sure why anyone would put loose paperclips in there, since there are smaller compartments for that kind of stuff.
Overall, this bag is really not showing any signs of wear after all my use during the past 18 months. No zipper issues, no fraying fabric, nothing. I have been very pleased with my purchase, and if I lost it tomorrow I'd go buy another without hesitation.

Summary: Best computer backpack around 2008-03-07
Comment: I have had this backpack for roughly 4 years now. I would never trade it in for anything if all I needed was a place to hold the laptop, accessories, and whatever business papers, books or magazines I needed to carry. Fits underneath airplane seats, and works beautifully for everything I need it to do.
